Hundreds of thousands are on the brink of starvation, and countless children have tragically succumbed to hunger.

Yet, their spirit remains unbroken. They face each day with remarkable courage.

However, the torment persists. In Gaza, people continue to struggle , enduring days without food, without water, and without shelter.

They continue enduring IMMENSE pain and suffering.

We on the other hand have been blessed with abundance in our lives, and it’s our duty to share those blessings with the people of Gaza.

More than a year into Israel’s conflict with Gaza,  over 80,000 tons of explosives have been unleashed on the Gaza strip.

Since October 7, the bombardments have claimed the lives of more than 38,800 people and injured almost 90,000.

Tragically, 70% of the injured have been women and children..

The devastation extends beyond human casualties, with alarming figures released.

The impact includes:

🔻 71,330+ cases of viral hepatitis infections due to displacement.

🔻 Approximately 60,000 pregnant women at risk due to lack of healthcare.

🔻 350,000 chronic patients at risk due to the prevention of medicine entry.

🔻 5,000 detainees from the Gaza Strip during the genocide.

🔻 300+ cases of detentions from healthcare workers.

🔻 35+ cases of journalist detentions known by name.

🔻 2 million displaced persons in the Gaza Strip.

🔻 190+ government buildings destroyed by the occupation.

🔻 110+ schools and universities completely destroyed by the occupation.

🔻 330 schools and universities partially destroyed by the occupation.

🔻 105+ scholars, university professors, and researchers executed by the occupation.

🔻 600+ mosques completely destroyed by the occupation.

🔻 210+ mosques partially destroyed by the occupation.

🔹 1.1million Gazans are facing drastic food insecurity

🔹 More than 70% of Gaza’s 2.3 million population is facing CATASTROPHIC hunger, heading towards imminent famine.

🔹 Around 1 out of 3 children are acutely malnourished.

A little girl asks: “Will I have dinner tonight?”

A mother in a makeshift tent: “Can I provide warmth to my child tonight?”

“How do I protect and feed my family?”

Their questions are many, but the answer could be one: Your Help.

Every meal missed, every empty stomach, and every tear shed is a testament to the glaring needs of our fellow humans.

The crisis in Gaza extends beyond hunger. Families there also face a severe shortage of clean water, which worsens their health problems and makes the overall situation even worse.

According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, 97% of the water extracted from Gaza’s sole aquifer is unfit for human consumption because of pollution with untreated wastewater

“And they give food despite the love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, saying, ‘We feed you only for the face of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.’” – Quran, Al-Insan (76:8-9)

While we might not have the ability to halt the conflict directly, we can provide crucial empowerment and support to the innocent individuals trapped amidst its chaos.

According to the UN report, each day 25,000 people, including more than 10,000 children, die from hunger and hunger-related causes.

That’s one person dying every 4 seconds, because of STARVATION.
